The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse is acclaimed as a show horse and is recognized for its beauty and style in the show ring. The MFTBHA has been holding Celebration Shows for over half a century, culminating in a Grand Championship Show that brings people not only from all over the US, but from many other countries as well. Inluding Germany, Austria, England, and Australia among others! . . . . Foxtrotters do very well in most jobs and sports including: Endurance Riding Competitive Trail Riding Jumping English Pleasure Western Pleasure Driving Versatility Point Events Trail Classes Model Point Classes Performance Point Classes Dressage Cutting/Herding Roping & Many More . . . . . . . No special shoeing or training is required for these horses to perform their gaits.
